PLANET NVR-401 is the new model of Network Video Recorder series designed for surveillance system to record and playback videos from network cameras. Users can just turn on cameras and the NVR in the Ethernet / IP networks to protect their home and property easily. The recorded video files can be saved in the NVR and there is no need of using additional PC for file storage, which brings users a secure surveillance system with a lower total cost of installation.

Up to 4 IP cameras can be connected to the NVR-401 via a connected IP network. With the NVR-401, users can view remote surveillance in real time and play back recorded videos via the web browser. The NVR-401 not only supports PLANET IP cameras but also compatible with most of major IP camera brands in the market. Furthermore, the NVR-401 can automatically search and find the available cameras in the network so it greatly reduces users’ effort while setting up the monitor system on their own.

The NVR-401 features smart setup wizard program for users to easily setup this device. It supports web-based management interface to enable administrators remotely manage the device via web browser without any concern.
