Reliable Industrial Wireless Access Point
with Fiber Uplink
PLANET IAP-2001PE Industrial Access Point provides users robust long distance Wireless access and stable connectivity to fiber network in harsh industrial network by integrating 100FX fiber interface with 802.11n wireless technology. It facilitates the Industrial Wireless LAN deployment without the constraints of distance. Via applying standard various SFP transceivers, the IAP-2001PE can be installed up to 60km far away from the data center. The IAP-2001PE provides not only Industrial grade Wireless Access and Repeater functions, but also the Industrial grade Fiber Router services including firewall and advanced secure features in order to satisfy variant network requirements.


Excellent Hardware Design
Specially designed for the Wi-Fi applications in the harden environment from -10 to 60 Degree C temperature, the IAP-2001PE comes with three different type of interfaces delivered in an IP30 rugged strong case:

  • 300Mbps 802.11n Wireless with two external 5dBi High-Gain antennas
  • 4-Port 10/100Mbps copper with 1-Port IEEE 802.3af PoE PD inject interface
  • One 100Base-FX fiber optical SFP Slot
Fiber Optic Link Capability for Flexible Distance Extension
Equipped with one 100Base-FX SFP (Small-Form Factor Pluggable) interface, the deployed distance of the IAP-2001PE Industrial AP can be extended from 2km up to above 60km respectively.

Compliant with IEEE 802.11n and 802.11b/g standards, the IAP-2001PE provides a better wireless signal, higher data rate and performance than standard 802.11g wireless AP. Furthermore, the IAP-2001PE features the latest security and multiple SSID functions to prevent unauthorized access or invasion.
