The PLANET WRT-416 is an 802.11g wireless router that supports high-speed wireless networking for home or SOHO users. The WRT-416 provides data rate up to 54 Mbps when it is used with other 802.11g products. The 802.11g standard is backward compatible with 802.11b products. There is no need to change the existing network for maintaining connectivity.

Except essential AP mode, the WRT-416 provides WDS and AP+WDS modes to facilitate different network deployments. The WRT-416 supports WEP, WPA / WPA2 Personal encryptions and MAC address filter function to consolidate the wireless network security. Meanwhile, you can prevent unauthorized stations from accessing your wireless network.

The WRT-416 allows you to setup trigger ports of special applications, and let you utilize Internet service smoothly. The firewall features can protect your Intranet PCs from illegal access and many kinds of DoS attacks from the Internet. The Virtual Server and DMZ functions let you setup your servers in the Intranet and still provide service to the Internet users. Access Control function allows you to block the Internet service to different clients.
