PLANET is committed to promoting sustainable supply chain management based on principles of responsibility, transparency, and low carbon. PLANET aims to strengthen supply chain resilience and collaboratively build a sustainably competitive value chain with suppliers.
The company follows international standards in ESG, human rights, environment, and business ethics to maintain the fairness, compliance, and sustainability of its supply chain, and supports the supply chain's collective advancement towards corporate sustainability.
To ensure the integrity and results of Sustainable Supply Chain Management, PLANET designates the Board of Directors as the highest decision-making body for the sustainable supply chain, regularly overseeing the promotion and outcomes of sustainability-related projects to ensure that all actions align with the company's long-term development direction.
The Board's functional committee, the Sustainable Development Committee, reviews the execution of the Sustainable Supply Chain Task Force twice every year to ensure the implementation of various management systems. The Sustainability Office is responsible for quarterly tracking of the progress and performance of Sustainable Supply Chain projects to ensure continuous improvement and effective execution.
PLANET has established a comprehensive "Sustainable Supply Chain Management Process", which consists of five key management procedures: compliance with standards, risk assessment, auditing, improvement guidance, and incentive and elimination mechanisms, in order to ensure that suppliers meet the requirements set forth in the Supply Chain Code of Conduct. Through risk assessments and sustainability audits, PLANET verifies implementation status with suppliers and provides guidance for improvement where necessary. At the same time, PLANET conducts surveys to assess suppliers’ carbon management capabilities. With long-term and deep collaboration, PLANET continues to drive its supply chain move toward sustainability by objectives management and strategic actions.
PLANET actively implements ESG principles and regards integrity and sustainable development as core corporate values. PLANET has established the supplier code of conduct as a guideline for suppliers' sustainable practices, covering the Supply Chain Code of Conduct, the Regulations of Hazardous Substances for Green Products, and Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy.
All suppliers are required to sign the “Supply Chain Code of Conduct Compliance Declaration,” which includes a conflict minerals declaration. This ensures adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, compliance with green product environmental requirements, and implementation of responsible mineral sourcing policies to support the continued operation of a responsible and green supply chain.
2025 Action Results:
PLANET places high importance on the sustainability of its supply chain and conducts annual ESG self-assessment survey for suppliers. Aligning with the RBA Code of Conduct and ISO international standards, the ESG self-assessment covers aspects such as labor, health and safety, environmental safety, ethical standards, and supply chain management, ensuring that suppliers' operations comply with PLANET's Supply Chain Code of Conduct. The company will further conduct audit for high-risk suppliers.
There are two types of ESG self-assessment questionnaires for manufacturers and agents, respectively, in response to the nature of PLANET’s suppliers, to more appropriately identify sustainability risks within the supply chain, and to further manage and mitigate potential risks.
In 2025, a total of 181 suppliers participated in the ESG self-assessment survey, with a 100% response rate. According to the results, by defining suppliers with scores below 60 as high-risk suppliers, there were no high-risk suppliers identified in 2025.
The main sustainability risk factors in 2025 were related to environmental safety. To effectively reduce the impact of these risk factors, PLANET will prioritize requesting key and high-carbon emission suppliers to conduct GHG inventories, achiseve the ISO 14064-1 certification and set carbon reduction goals. Other risk items will be included in audits and guidance for improvement.
PLANET actively leads the supply chain toward sustainable development. Through continuous, objective ESG performance assessments, we reward outstanding suppliers by offering more collaboration opportunities, such as priority in new product development partnerships and increased order shares. Furthermore, we will continue to guide suppliers with weaker performance, assisting them in improving their ESG performance to achieve the goal of building a resilient and sustainable supply chain ecosystem.
PLANET has established a comprehensive supply chain management platform, using digital technologies and net-zero transformation to build supply chain resilience, including green products, carbon inventory, and ESG evaluation. Through the green supply chain management platform, PLANET collaborates with suppliers to foster a shared commitment to sustainability, providing updates on green regulations and information, and collecting data on restricted substances, carbon footprints, and assessment forms.
In 2024, PLANET actively collaborated with suppliers to jointly promote carbon inventory projects to build a sustainable supply chain. Through the Ministry of Economic Affairs' subsidy program for low-carbon and smart upgrades for small and medium-sized manufacturing industries (Low-Carbon Transformation), the "PLANET Supply Chain Sustainability Resilience Cloud Project" provided guidance to 11 suppliers in carbon management and low-carbon transformation from May 2024 to October 2025. Overall program results brought a reduction of 973 metric tons of CO2e and a substantial benefit of saving 350,000 kWh of electricity.
By the end of 2025, 63% of PLANET’s suppliers had completed GHG inventories. PLANET will continue to collaborate with suppliers to implement carbon reduction solutions and strengthen their carbon management capabilities through training and resources. Through collaboration and empowerment, we are committed to developing a more resilient and sustainably competitive low-carbon supply chain.
