Yes, WGT-702S20 can be used as a slide-in module to the PLANET 19" Intelligent Media Converter Chassis -- WMC-1600R. With the chassis, WGT-702S20 can be managed through the RS-232 Console, Telnet, Web, SNMP agent.
No, only the WFT-series converter installs into WMC-1600R chassis then it will provide full management function, such as remote telnet or web interface, SNMP interface.

1. For switching functions, WGSW-2620PV is managed while FGSW-2620PVS is web smart. The WGSW-2620PV supports IGMP snooping, GVRP, IEEE802.1x user authentication, MAC filter and DHCP relay functions that the FGSW-2620PVS do not.
2. For management interfaces, WGSW-2602PV supports telnet and SNMP remote administration.
3. WGSW-2620PV also supports power redundant function. It can take both the AC power and an UPS power simultaneously. Once the AC power is shut off, the UPS takes over as the power supply for the WGSW-2620PV and the connected powered devices.
