Yes, supporting TCP/IP LPR printing, the Print Server can support Windows Vista OS. In the printer setup of Windows Vista, please use standard TCP/IP printing protocol to build the connection with desired Printer Server. For single port model, the printer port name will be p1, for three ports model, it will be p1, p2, and p3.
So, while installation, 1. Please select TCP/IP printing. 2. Key in the IP address of the Print Server. 3. In the name filed, key in the port name, i.e. “p1” for example. 4. After installed the printer driver go into the printer property and check the port type is set at “LPR” instead of “RAW”. Then the printer behind the Printer Server is ready to work for you.
