Can I upload the firmware of ADW-4401v1/v2 to ADW-4401v4 or upload the ADW-4401v4's firmware to ADW-4401v1/v2?

No, there is no way to use the different firmware in the different versions. Due to production control reason, there are different hardware control codes inside those ADSL modems. Thus, the ADW-4401v4's firmware only can be used in the correspondent models.
