[MAP-2000_MAP-3000] Why I change the default IP address of my Mesh node (MAP-2000 series or MAP-3000 series), and after reboot, it always can not follow the new IP setting?

By default, the “Auto IP” is turned on at each mesh node.
As soon as “Auto IP” is turned on, the mesh system will always follow the “Auto IP” algorithm to assign the IP address, no matter what IP address is used or saved to the system.

Once this setting is ON, the next time power on the device, it will always use the “Auto IP” algorithm.

So, if you would like to setup your own IP address, then you will need to turn it off in advanced no matter you are using MAP-2000 series or MAP-3000 series.

Take MAP-3000 for example, the following is the setup page to turn off the Auto-IP.
[Services -> AutoIP]

Please turn off this setting before you make the IP change.
Here, again take MAP-3100 as the example again. The IP setup page as like below.

Without turn off the “Auto IP”, if you change the above IP address base on your network plan. The next time you power on this MAP-3000, it will still use the IP address: 172.29.224.1 as this example.
