How to set the WGSD-910 / WGSD-1022C / WSW-2401A / WGSW-2840 / WGSW-5240 back to default settings when forget password? - FAQ

This FAQ shows how to quick reset default for the five switches that include WGSD-910 / WGSD-1022C / WSW-2401A / WGSW-2840 / WGSW-5240, unless model name specified terms “Switch” will be used for these five models.
Connect console cable to console interface of Switch and access Switch by console, after access console interface of Switch, please refer to following procedure to reset the Switch to factory default mode.

1.Please input "enable" in Switch > space.
2.Then the "Please input password:" appears, please input "[^_^]" as password for
　access privileged mode.
3.Please input "set default" in Switch \ enable > space.
4.Then please power off and power on the Switch to take affect.
