[VC-231G] The VC-231G(V2) requests for 802.1Q VLAN tag frame pass-through VDSL2 line. What can I do?

Please upgrade the VC-231G(V2) to VC-231G_V06.28O_20250219-Image.bin via its web interface.

Here are the steps:

1. Remove the uppercase of the VC-231G(V2).

2. Remove the resistor at the RA1 position on the PCB rear side (Please keep it,

   as it needs to be soldered back to its original position after the web software upgrade is completed).

3. Ensure the DIP switch is set to the CPE side (default setting). Use a computer browser to access the IP: 192.168.11.1

    (ensure the network card is configured within the 192.168.11.xxx range).

4. Log in to the web interface using “admin”for both username and password.

5. Select Management → Update Software. Use Browse to locate the latest software file (VC-231G_V06.28O_20250219-Image.bin)

    stored on the computer, and then click Update Software to begin the upgrade.

6. Wait for the software upgrade to complete, then repeat step 4 to log in to the web interface again. 

7. Select Management → Settings → Restore Default. Click Restore Default Settings,

    and when the confirmation screen appears, click Yes to restore to default mode. 

8. The device will reboot. After rebooting, access the web interface and verify under Basic Setup → WAN Service

    → Action (click the pencil icon) → Advanced Settings to ensure that VLAN Pass-through is checked.

   This completes the software upgrade process. 

9. Restore the resistor at the RA1 position on the PCB (solder it back to the original position).
