There are three methods:
1. Direct. Device may have integrated F/O ports;
2. Using an appropriate transceiver: if your device has AUI or MII ports .
3. Using media converter, you can use 10Base-FL, 100Base-FX, 1000Base-SX or 1000Base-LX converters to obtain F/O connectivity
