There are some fators that will effect the performance:

1. Wrong port configuration. ( Connect forced full-duplex to auto-negotiation port, etc...)

2. Wrong cabling connection (Cat 3 for 100-TX, over 100m length, etc ...)

3. Wrong VLAN configuration

4. Broadcast storm and collision storm (Too many nodes, more that 40 nodes share per switch port)

5. Packet memory (2MBytes ~16MBytes, more is better)

6. Security function will reduce switch performance

7. Blocking or Non-Blocking switch architecture (Non-Blocking is the best)

Factory-default IP Address and username / password are shown as following:

Default IP address: 192.168.0.100
Default User Name: admin

GSD-805 is an eight port Gigabit Ethernet Switch, all its RJ-45 port support triple speed, i.e. 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps.
And FSD-805 is an eight port Fast Ethernet Switch where only runs at 10Mbps, 100Mbps each port.

However, both switches are all with built-in universal internal power, both of them is a palm sized Ethernet Switch.

yes, due to each RJ-45 port of GSD-805 support Auto negotiation and it can run at not only 1000Mbps full-duplex but also 10/100Mbps half / full-duplex mode.
