Please press Reset button at front panel for 5 seconds then the FGSW-2620VM will reset to factory default mode (username and password: admin, default IP address: 192.168.0.100)

1. Different LED allocation on Fast Ethernet ports and Gigabit combo ports.
V1: 2 LEDs for Fast Ethernet ports and 3 LEDs for Gigabit combo ports.
V2: 1 LED for Fast Ethernet ports and 2 LEDs for Gigabit combo ports.
2. Check the serial number from FCC label that located on bottom of FGSW-2620VM.

Different operate temperature.

Please kindly refer to following information for further reference.

VLAN scenario:
The member ports of VLAN 2 group from two FGSW-2624SF can communications with each other, through the Uplink port 26 (Tagged with PVID 1).
VLAN setting:
1. The same IEEE 802.1Q VLAN setting on both FGSW-2624SF, please choose "802.1Q" in VLAN Operation Mode and we can see default VLAN 1 group include all ports with untagged and PVID 1.




2. We add a new VLAN 2 group, and then assign port 1, port 3, port 5 with Untagged and port 26 with Tagged as member ports.


3. We assign PVID 2 for port 1, port 3 and port 5 and PVID 1 for port 26, then the port 1, port 3 and port 5 from two FGSW-2624SF can communication with each other through the uplink port 26 (Tagged with PVID 1)

The GSW-1602SF and GSW-2404SF (Version 1, 2 and 3) do not support Spanning Tree over Link Aggregation function.

Please download Updater utility to update the firmware ID first then try to upgrade firmware again. You could follow the procedure as following.
Setp1. Please go visit Planet download center web page http://www.planet.com.tw then pickup SGSW-2840 model to search the utility and press Go button. You could refer to the Figure1.

Step2. Please download Updater utility then extract it.
Step3. Please prepare console cable then connect to your PC and SGSW-2840.then execute the Updater utility.
Step4. Turn power off SGSW-2840 then picks up COM port number where your console cable plugged in then press Connect button and turn power on SGSW-2840.

Step5. Please waiting for a while till Finish button enabled then press Finish button.

Step6. Turn power off then turn power on, after booting done you can upgrade firmware.

Note:
1. Before using the utility, please close all of application first.
2. Please close the utility first after pressed Finish button.
