Point-to-point and multi-cast are 100 meters over UTP cable. But if the connection via switches is applied, theoretically, there is no limit distance. It depends on the cables, media type is applied and switch level you use. Gigabit Ethernet switch with IGMP, VLAN support or higher level is recommended. If the switches support different media types, for example, 1000Base-X optic fiber also can be used to extend the wiring distance.

Video Extender：Theoretically, 1000 are the most as long as each Rx
unit is assigned an IP. However, beware of using the IGMP broadcast protocol supported switch in the network environment and aware of the impact of broadcast on such a network. A pure network for IHD & its IGMP broadcasting is recommended.
1. If you don’t use Safari browser, please download BonjourSDKSetup on PC.
You could download on Internet for free (IE browser is not recommended.).
2. Make sure to choose the right firmware on the right unit (click on the right Web UI).
3. Do not interrupt while updating.
4. You should update each unit to make there are all using the same firmware for optimal performance (eg, if there are 3 Rx, youshould update for 3 times.).
Please make sure you enter the Tx unit Web UI. If you get to the Web UI of Rx, you won’t see the other units in the drop-down list. It’s only for updating firmware usually.
You can use two or more ports of HDMI splitter to connect.
We suggest you not to use a low monitor to watch a high quality video source.
The screen resolution can only be backward compatible, not forward compatible.
So please adjust the video source resolution appropriately for the output screen resolution.
Execute the “IPM1200x Upgrade tool” program which can be found on the included CD-ROM, specify the IPM device and input the admin password (to obtain the upgrade access right) and then open the firmware file .bin to execute the upgrade.
