The IDL supports G.992.5 ADSL 2 + Annex M, this will increase the Up Stream bandwidth of ADSL 2+ and Annex M supported ADSL 2+ CDE modem.

In this power point file, we use the ADE-3400 as the example, however, it will apply to all the PLANET ADSL 2+ & Annex M suported CPE modem Router.

Pleaes refer to the Power Point file (FAQ_EPL1000_EPN102VLAN.pps) for the setup steps. The EPL-1000 supports dedicated single VLAN or double VLAN. In this example, we use dedicated single VLAN for the setting.

ADN-4100 supports TCP/IP and Windows 7/Vista are also supporting IPv4 TCP/IP, therefore, it can be connected to these operating system. Furthermore, please refer to the step by step below, hope it would be useful assistance.

Please go through the control panel on windows 7/Vista and click the option of view network status and tasks of network and internet,


The screen will display network and sharing center and then the next searching for an option the change adapter settings (for vista is manage network connection) from the left hand,


Go through and then click the local area connection.

Please see the property of local area connection,


And then check the property of TCP/IP IPv4 option,


Set an IP address is the same subnet as ADN-4100 (the default IP of ADN-4100 is 192.168.1.1, please arrange your local ip address of PC from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254)


* ADN-4100 is with DHCP Server turned on by default, if your windows 7/Vista PC is connected by Ethernet cable with ADN-4100 and also set as DHCP client mode as well, it will obtain the IP address automatically.

Yes, you can. The VDL-2420MR / VDL-2420MR48 supports redundant power supply module and you may plug in DC + DC, AC+AC or AC + DC power supply. Please remove FAN module before plug in additional power supply module.

No, VDL-2420MR / VDL-2420MR48 mini-GBIC slot doesn’t support dual speed, it supported Gigabit SFP module only.

Answer 1:
The EPL-2000 default GE1 and GE2 Net Interface IP is 192.168.10.10. If you want to manage multiple EPL-2000 in the same network, you need to change the default GE1 and GE2 Net Interface IP for your second, third or fourth EPL-2000 firstly.

For example, EPL-2000_A is 192.168.10.10, EPL-2000_B is 192.168.10.11 and EPL-2000_C is 192.168.10.12. EPL-2000_A GE1 Fiber Port connects to the PC,
EPL-2000_A GE2 Fiber Port connects to the EPL-2000_B GE1 Fiber Port,
EPL-2000_B GE2 Fiber Port connects to the EPL-2000_C GE1 Fiber Port,

Executes EMS software, then add devices and fill in the IP address, Read Community and Write Community for
EPL-2000_A is 192.168.10.10, EPL-2000_B is 192.168.10.11 and EPL-2000_C is 192.168.10.12.

Answer 2:
The EPL-2000 default Management IP is 192.168.1.10. If you want to manage multiple EPL-2000 in the same network, you need to change the default Managemnet IP for your second, third or fourth EPL-2000 firstly.

For example, EPL-2000_A is 192.168.1.10, EPL-2000_B is 192.168.1.11 and EPL-2000_C is 192.168.1.12.
PC connects to the switch.
Switch connects to the EPL-2000_A, EPL-2000_B and EPL-2000_C Management Port

Executes EMS software, then add devices and fill in the IP address, Read Community and Write Community for
EPL-2000_A is 192.168.1.10, EPL-2000_B is 192.168.1.11 and EPL-2000_C is 192.168.1.12.

(1)Find the other AP have the WDS feature.
(2)The SSID with the both AP must be the same.
(3)The wireless channel must be the same.
(4)The subnet for the both AP must be the same but not the same IP address.
(5)Fill the wireless MAC address each other.
(6)The encryption method and the password must be the same.
Note: We recommend use the same brand or the same model modem to established the WDS connection, otherwise the WDS connection maybe not be work
