DECT or Digital Enhanced (former European) Cordless Telecommunications is an ETSI standard for digital portable phones, commonly used for domestic or corporate use. DECT, like GSM, is a cellular system. A major difference between the systems is the cell radius -DECT cells have a radius of 25 to 100 meters, while GSM cells are 2 to 10 km.DECT is becoming a worldwide standard for short-range cordless mobility, and can be adapted for many other cordless applications.

Check if the handset cord is properly connected.

Before dialing out, press the correspondence line number you want to use. For example, if user wants to use Line 2 to dial out, please press Line 2.

NOTE:There are 4 physical lines for the VIP-5060PT. The 5th and 6th lines must be established by the Function Key Settings.
