PLANET’s Sustainability Film “Clean Air, Clear Mind Action” awarded the Silver Medal  at the 2023 Taipei Golden Eagle Micro-movie Festival

In 2022, PLANET initiated the “Clean Air, Clear Mind Action” program with an NPO, International Nature Restoration Action Association (INRAA), in order to prevent air pollution and carbon emissions from burning rice straws in Taiwan. PLANET created a short sustainability film “Clean Air, Clear Mind Action” to document the actions taken to improve environmental sustainability. Through this video, PLANET hopes to raise awareness of environmental issues and encourage people to care for the environment. This sustainability film has been awarded the Silver Medal at the 2023 Taipei Golden Eagle Micro-movie Festival.

Tree Planting on World Environment Day

PLANET has teamed up with its partner, EET Group, to plant 7,000 trees in the EET Ecologi Forest to support World Environment Day on June 5th, 2022. By planting 7,000 trees, it would eliminate 84 tons of CO2 in a year.

Clean Air and Better Rice Field
  • Stop Burning Rice Stubble
  • Prevent Air Pollution
  • Reduce CO2 Emissions

PLANET and INRAA worked together to reduce carbon emissions and prevent air pollution by ending rice stubble burning. As of April 2022, PLANET has invited 77 companies to join this project, together sponsoring totally 4,100 hectares of paddy field in Hualien and Changhua, Taiwan, helping to eliminate 36,900 tons of CO2 in a year.
