Designed to simplify the management across different types of networking products on the intranet, PLANET Universal Network Management System (UNI-NMS) is an intelligent platform that enables all of PLANET’s Ethernet Switches, Gateways, Converters, Wireless APs, IP Cameras and PoE network equipment to be centrally controlled via cloud. Its user-friendly Topology View, Event Report and User Authentication Management functions especially boost the management efficiency on large-scale networks such as smart cities, IP surveillance systems, IoT, IIoT and IoV applications.

PLANET will show the world’s first Industrial Flat-type Smart Router with Color Touch LCD Screen and Flat-type Ethernet Switch Series at the two exhibitions. Built in a compact size and equipped with a color touch LCD human-machine interface and ONVIF camera control functions, the products facilitate the network management in real time particularly in a small space for surveillance systems, and building and factory automation. A 19-inch color touch LCD model with 10G fiber uplink capabilities is available to meet the demands of bandwidth for high-definition images and videos in surveillance systems of government, buildings, communities and other public places.

To accelerate the network infrastructure deployment of smart cities, and IoT, IIoTand IoV applications, PLANET will showcase the latest carrier-grade 100G fiber-optic Layer 3 managed switches, 10G stackable Layer 3 PoE switches, 52-port fiber-optic managed switches and industrial 10G Ring PoE switches, which provide strong cybersecurity features with SSL and SSHv3 encryptions to protect the data transmission of the network. Furthermore, PLANET will introduce the 802.3bt compliant 95-watt PoE devices to improve flexibility and performance of PoE networks.
