This application is suitable for one-to-one door phone and intercom scenarios. It can reduce costs by eliminating the need for an IP PBX and meets the requirements of most applications.
However, for one-to-many or many-to-many deployments, an IP PBX is recommended.
Topology:
Fail-safe lock → HDP-1261PT → Switch → VTS-700WP
The fail-safe lock is connected to the HDP-1261PT, which communicates with the VTS-700WP via an Ethernet switch.
Configuration Overview:
The following steps describe the complete configuration process for a one-to-one P2P deployment, including hardware wiring, network settings, and SIP-related configuration.
Step 1 : Connect the positive and negative wires of the door lock to NO1 and COM1 on the HDP-1261PT.
Step 2 : Power on Fail-safe lock and make it ready.

Step 3 : Configure HDP-1261PT IPv4 Settings and assign a fixed IP address.
Step 4 : In the SIP global settings of HDP-1261PT, uncheck the “Enable Strict UA Match” function.
Note : Enable Strict UA Match function indicates to enable strict UA matching and only accept requests from the server.
In this P2P scenario, this option should be disabled to allow direct SIP communication between the door phone and the intercom.
Step 5 : In the HDP-1261PT password settings, select the “Remote” type and add “*” as the password.
Step 6 : In the HDP-1261PT Function Key settings, create a Memory Key type and configure the indoor intercom name and IP address,
so that when a visitor presses the DSS Key, the call is made directly to the indoor intercom.
Step 7 : Configure intercom VTS-700WP IPv4 Settings and assign a fixed IP address.
Step 8 : In the SIP Global Settings of VTS-700WP, uncheck the “Enable Strict UA Match” function.
Step 9 : In the VTS-700WP Function Key settings, create a Memory Key type and configure the door phone name and IP address,
so that when a resident presses the DSS Key, the call is made directly to the door phone.
Besides, it is required to create a DTMF type with a name and password next, such Door Lock and *.
Step 10 : Check “Enable Auto Answering” function of VTS-700WP.
Step 11 : Function Test

Once the SIP trunk is created between two IP PBXs, you can set the following to achieve the purpose.
1. Makes sure there is no problem for extensions to call each other. If the extensions can communicate with each other,
it means that the SIP trunk is connected successfully.
2. Changes to dial permission for the SIP trunk. If the extension on the client PBX device can make outgoing calls via GSM trunk,
the corresponding SIP trunk is able to call out from GSM trunk with the same dialing permission of this extension.

Users can reboot the device from soft-menu, [Menu] >> [Basic] >> [Reboot System],and confirm the action by [OK].
Or simply remove the power supply and restore it again.
