The display resolution and TVL (TV-Line) of the camera are two different concerns about the display screen.

Resolution is the maximum area of display screen. And TVL (TV Lines) is mean how many scanning TVL it can provide for the output video signal. So, whenever you use a high TVL analog camera to IVS-110, you can get better quality of the video image itself at the VGA (640*480) display area. It do not have the need to support D1 resolution.

Default Gateway and DNS server address should be set up correctly. If FTP does not work properly, ask your ISP or network administrator about the transferring mode of FTP server.

Step1. Please remove all the data on the USB flash. Then put the firmware (*.bin) in the root index of the disk. Rename the firmware as "firmware.bin"
Step2. Remove all the wires connect to the NVR-420. Plug the USB flash. Press the reset button and connect the DC power.
Step3. Hold the reset button till all the LED on front panel light in green. Release the reset button and wait for few seconds. You will see all the LED on front panel are blinking green. It means the upgrade is in process. When the blinking stop, the NVR-420 will be reset to default. Please use the utility to connect and login by admin/admin and check the firmware version again to confirm the upgrade procedure.

Check whether the DC power adaptor, included in package, is used. Secure the power connector and re-power it on.

Go to C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files and check to see if there is an entry for the file "IPCamera Control". The status column should show "Installed". If the file is not listed, make sure your Security Settings in Internet Explorer are configured properly and then try reloading the device’s home page. Most likely, the ActiveX control did not download and install correctly. Check your Internet Explorer security settings and then close and restart Internet Explorer. Try to browse and log in again.

  1. Download and install the search tool: IP Finder II.

  2. Check the IP address of the device by using PLANET IP Finder II program.

A :

ICA-HM350 is with IR feature, it has to work with IR pass lens. This kind of lens will allow the IR passed in night, but it will make the screen looks a little bit red, this is normal. Most of the IR camera will get this situation. You may select the White Balance option to fit the different light source. That will improve the display issue.
