There are two ways to get the IP of the VIP-8030NT.

1) Use Planet Smart Discovery Lite to search for the IP of the VIP-8030NT.

2) Press "menu" first and then press Keys "4" and "5" to search for the IP address.

Because the VIP-8030NT comes with both PSTN and VoIP, so only PSTN can use the hotline. For example, after you have set the hotline as 8888-1234, just press to dial 88881234 immediately.

First you need to set up destination IP to web like the one below. The VIP-8030’s WAN IP is 192.168.1.71. When a user calls to the VIP-8030NT via 192.168.1.71, it will forward this phone to 192.168.1.55.

It means no RJ45 cable via LAN of the VIP-8030NT is connected to a switch. When the cable is connected, this message will disappear.

It means the VIP-8030NT is not registered with IP PBX (SIP server). When it is registered, this message will disappear.
